The Wise and Foolish Virgins

The Bible contains many truths in the parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins that preachers prefer to ignore. It is because of this that many Foolish Christians will be left-behind after the Rapture.

This article looks at what each of the symbols represent in this parable. This is to allow Christians to appreciate how significant this message from Jesus is. It represents a warning that highlights what events will take place leading up to the (Pre-Trib) Rapture.

Estimated reading time: 6 minutes

Key Takeaways

  • The parable of the wise and foolish virgins serves as a warning about the Rapture, highlighting the need for spiritual preparedness.
  • The ‘oil’ symbolizes Bible truths learned through study and life experiences, essential for spiritual understanding.
  • Wise virgins possess enough oil, while foolish virgins lack sufficient biblical knowledge and preparation.

Parable of the Education System

Parable of the Education System

Jesus Christ used parables to describe what the Kingdom of Heaven was like. This article represents a modern-day parable of the education system. As such systems of education are found in many countries, they are used to illustrate the Biblical truth about Salvation and how God expects His people to progress and mature from beginning (Initial Salvation) to the end (Final Salvation).

The scripture verse that underscores the message in this post is this:

“It is written in the prophets, And THEY [ALL truly 'born-again' Christians] shall be ALL TAUGHT [PERSONALLY] of God [the Father]. Every [truly 'born-again'] man [or woman] therefore that hath HEARD, and hath LEARNED of [God] THE FATHER, COMETH UNTO ME [Jesus at the Rapture].” (John 6:45)

Estimated reading time: 11 minutes

Key Takeaways

  • The article presents a modern-day parable of the education system, illustrating the spiritual journey from Initial Salvation to Final Salvation.
  • Just as students progress through educational phases, Christians must grow in faith and understanding to achieve eternal life.
  • The parable details five levels of spiritual maturity: Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary, University, and Post Graduate levels of faith.
  • Each level requires Christians to engage in studying scripture and performing good works, ultimately leading to spiritual fruitfulness.
  • The message warns against reliance on human teachings and emphasizes the necessity of Bible-based knowledge for salvation, highlighting the importance of progressing in faith.

The Gospel of Initial and Final Salvation

Initial and Final Salvation

Throughout the last two centuries of Christianity, the ‘gospel’ being preached centers upon Salvation through faith alone (Ephesians 2:9).

However, this Faith Alone ‘gospel’ fails to address the need for any accompanying “works” mentioned in Ephesians 2:10. In this, Paul said, we were “…created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them“.

Estimated reading time: 10 minutes

Key Takeaways

  • The article discusses the importance of both faith and works in achieving Initial and Final Salvation.
  • Initial Salvation occurs when a sinner accepts Christ, but it does not include works; Final Salvation requires works that produce spiritual fruit.
  • Scripture emphasizes the need for Christians to endure to the end, hold fast to hope, and demonstrate spiritual maturity through good works.
  • The article encourages readers to assess their faith journey and the signs of spiritual growth associated with Final Salvation.
  • Ultimately, both Initial and Final Salvation require a combination of faith and the fruits of works performed in a believer’s life.

Presenting — Jesus Christ’s TEN Commandments

Christ’s Commandments written on the tables of the human heart

Jesus Christ presented His Ten Commandments in the form of warnings that Christians should take notice, that their Salvation is at risk. If they ignore these warnings, they will NOT inherit eternal life with Him.

In this, Jesus said:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)

The above verse could also be interpreted as saying:

“If ye [really and sincerely] love me [as you claim you do, then], keep [within your heart and OBEY each of] my commandments.” (John 14:15)

Recently I discovered the following Ten Commandments of Jesus that are expressed in the form of ‘negative commandments’. In this, they are presented as warnings from Jesus for every Christian to take notice.  As an example, one warning in John 3:5 says they “…CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD”.

Judas Iscariot and his Many Disciples

Snake Oil Salesman

Most Christians cannot conceive that Judas Iscariot had many disciples, and these would continue on preaching his beliefs well after his death.

In the article ‘Are Only FEW Christians Saved“, it showed how the Bible reveals that only a “FEW” of God’s people have been ‘saved’. This statement applies to all of God’s people throughout the history of the Earth. To appreciate the facts behind this claim, it is worthy to first understand a little more about what the Bible reveals about Judas Iscariot.

Estimated reading time: 8 minutes

Key Takeaways

  • Many Christians struggle to see Judas Iscariot as a genuine disciple and apostle who preached successfully before his betrayal.
  • The article explores the spiritual aspects of Judas Iscariot, highlighting his fall from grace and warning of similar behaviors among modern Christians.
  • False teachings and the love of money characterize ‘Iscariotism,’ calling into question the motives of certain church leaders today.
  • Christians should evaluate their pastors against biblical principles to discern true discipleship from betrayal.
  • The true gospel requires commitment to self-denial, caring for the poor, and following Christ diligently, contrasting with false gospels that promote comfort and wealth.

PROOF that MOST Christians are NOT SAVED!

PROOF that MOST Christians are NOT SAVED

An advertising campaign I ran some time ago using Google ads produced statistical proof that most Christians are not Saved!

To illustrate that this situation has been a pattern of God’s people throughout millennia, the Bible reveals that in the days of Noah (Luke 17:26-27) it was only Noah and his seven other family members who were saved from that world-wide flood.  If it is assumed that there were 1 billion people on the Earth at the time, this means that the percentage saved would be 0.0000008%.

Similarly, ALL of the inhabitants of the cities associated with Sodom and Gomorrah perished in the fire and brimstone that rained down upon them from Heaven — but it was only Lot and his two daughters who were saved from that catastrophe (Gen 19:24; 30).  Again, it was a very tiny percentage of people who were ‘finally Saved’ from God’s judgments.

Often the Bible talks about a “remnant” of God’s people that were saved (rather than a multitude) as can be seen in these the Bible references (Rom 9:27; 2 Kings 19:30-31; Ezra 9:8; Isa 1:9; 10:21-22; 11:16).

Further Proof Most Christians are Not Saved!

Salvation Analysis for 2024

The article that follows presents new data that provides further proof that most Christians are not saved! This confirms the claim I made four years ago that MOST Christians are not saved.

In March 2020, I posted an article here titled, ‘PROOF that MOST Christians are NOT SAVED‘. The article used statistics from a Google advertising campaign I ran that proved (to me anyway) that Christians today have little regard for the Salvation that Jesus Christ purchased for them at the cross. I encourage you to read that article, to appreciate the basis of why I am now writing this article.

Works of Faith

The New Testament is very clear that God the Father requires to see Christians demonstrate “works of faith” (James 2:20-26). This is so every Christian is able to bring forth spiritual “fruit” (John 15:1-9) into His kingdom.

The spiritual “fruit” referred to represents the lost souls in this world. These are those who are living a life of sin (Luke 15:10). This is because Satan has ensnared them in unbelief (Heb 4:6). The only way to “save” them (Rom 10:14) is for God’s people to preach the True Gospel. The Gifts of the Spirit (Mark 16:20) should accompany such preaching, as stated in the scripture verse below:

"And they [Christ's disciples] went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING. Amen." ( Mark 16:20) — Jesus speaking

Spirit Soul and Body — Evil Spirits

The location of evil spirits within the 'Spiritual Realm' of humanity

Part 1 of the Spirit, Soul and the Body series examined the spiritual ‘organs’ God has provided to us within our “Inner Man“, as revealed in scripture.

This article examines how EVIL SPIRITS influence our spiritual ‘organs‘ and how they sometimes affect the functions and controlling controlling of our body. It also looks at how our Spirit can oppose and overcome these influences.

Estimated reading time: 14 minutes

Key Takeaways

  • Evil spirits can negatively influence our spiritual ‘organs’ and overall wellbeing, affecting health and our relationship with God.
  • Common fallacies about evil spirits include the belief they don’t exist and that Christians are immune to their influence.
  • Evil spirits may have legal rights to inhabit a person due to past actions like witchcraft, that impact future generations.
  • The Bible illustrates the struggle against evil spirits and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a clean spiritual ‘house’.
  • God empowers believers to combat evil spirits through faith and spiritual discipline, as demonstrated by Jesus and his disciples.
