Initial and Final Salvation

This entry is part 1 of 3 in the series Initial and Final Salvation

Throughout the last two centuries of Christianity, the ‘gospel’ being preached centers upon Salvation through faith alone (Eph 2:9). However, this Faith Alone ‘gospel’ fails to address the need for any accompanying “works” mentioned in Eph 2:10 that Jesus referred to as “fruit” (John 15:2) that can only be produced from “works“.  This is why God requires Christians to accept and implement Initial and Final Salvation, as it accommodates both “faith” + “works“.

Final Salvation also relates to running the “race that God has set before us” (1 Cor 9:24 and Heb 12:1-2) that attracts a “prize” if completed. Failure to “run the race” means the Christian will not achieve Final Salvation.

To obtain an overview of the above chart, it is suggested you watch this brief video presentation prior to reading the information that follows.

The need for “Faith Alone” followed by “Works”

Initial Salvation relies on people hearing the Gospel message and receiving Christ as their Savior “by grace are ye saved through faith” (Eph 2:8). Initial Salvation for an unbeliever cannot be obtained through “good works” (Rom 4:3-5); however the issue here is – can a mature Christian get into Heaven without any of the required ‘works’ that produce “fruit” for God (John 15:1-2)?

The powerful statement below by the Apostle James plainly states that “…by works a man is justified“, meaning – the Christian’s “works” justify what their faith (or beliefs) represent! The concern here is that if Christians fail to produce any of the required “works“— can they realistically be Saved?

But wilt thou know, O VAIN [Christian] man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS is dead [faith]? {21} Was not Abraham our father justified by works [of faith that he did], when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? {22} Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and BY WORKS WAS [Abraham’s] FAITH MADE PERFECT? {23} And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. {24} Ye see then how that BY WORKS A MAN IS JUSTIFIED, and NOT BY FAITH ONLY…{26} For as the body without the spirit is dead, so FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD ALSO.”

(James 2:20-26)

What represents “works

This statement by James creates a dilemma as to what are the “works” he refers to, and how do they associate with Initial and Final Salvation? Also, can one lose their Salvation if the required “works” are not evident in the Christian’s life?

The Bible indicates that “works” are indeed necessary for Final Salvation, and that these represent ‘spiritual works’ that originate in Heaven initially as God’s will.

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother [or a son of God – Rom 8:14].

Mark 3:35

It is “God’s will” that Christians undertake “works” (Matt 12:50) to produce the required “fruit” that God the Father expects to see (John 15:2). Such “work” is undertaken on Earth through Jesus Christ leading God’s “children” (Psalm 23:2-3) as each one representing the spiritual members of His body using the Gifts of the Spirit to achieve God the Father’s will. See my post titled ‘The True Church of Jesus Christ‘ for more information about this.

In the matter of Christians doing God’s will, Jesus plainly says:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, THE WORKS THAT I DO SHALL HE DO also; and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL HE DO; because I go unto my Father. {13} And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

John 14:12-13

Obviously, Jesus is expecting those who believe upon Him in faith to do the same works (or even greater works) than He did. This is because He requires ALL Christians since He ascended in Heaven to save souls out of Satan’s kingdom for God the Father (Mark 16:15-16). Such “souls saved” represent the spiritual “fruit” God requires from His people.

What are the signs that associate with the “works“?

Below are listed some of the basic “signs” (associated with “works“) that Christians everywhere should be demonstrating through their Final Salvation stage:

And THESE SIGNS shall follow THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they CAST OUT DEVILS; they shall SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES; 18 They shall TAKE UP SERPENTS; and if they DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, it shall not hurt them; they shall LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, and they shall recover.”

Mark 16:17-19

Therefore, Final Salvation cannot be obtained through “faith alone” (Eph 2:9)!

However, where faith is associated without the accompanying “works“, this represents “dead faith” (James 2:26 ) when it comes to producing “fruit“. In God’s requirement for Salvation that relates to “fruit“, there has to be two phases associated with “faith” where both of these requirements are met. In this, I have termed the first requirement Initial Salvation (no “works” – just faith alone) and Final Salvation where “works of faith” produce the spiritual fruit required by God.

Initial Salvation explained

Initial Salvation takes place where the sinner confesses their sins before God (Matt 3:6), and repents from their sinful ways (Luke 13:3). He or she then accepts Christ as the Savior of their soul from eventually spending eternity in Hell. This is achieved using the confession of their mouth (Rom 10:9-10 and Rev 21:7-8).

These actions are performed by FAITH ALONE—representing the sinner’s realization and appreciation of God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness and of the love being directed towards him or her to save them from their fate in Hell.  It is also the point where each Christian’s spiritual journey commences in their new life in Christ (Heb 11:13-16).

Final Salvation explained

Final Salvation commences sometime after the ‘new birth’ occurs (John 3:3-8) and the then “Babe in Christ” (1 Cor 3:1) commences to mature towards becoming a Child (1 John 2:1); then a “Strong Young Man“; possibly a “Father” (1 John 2:14) and maybe a “Good Soldier of Jesus Christ” in God’s kingdom while enduring the “race set before them” (2 Tim 2:3 and Heb 12:1-2). See my second article in this series titled ‘Final Salvation: Running the ‘Race‘ to appreciate more about these requirements.

With each Christian studying the scriptures to become “approved by God” (2 Tim 2:15) together with practical experiences of opposing Satan, he or she then presses towards the Mark of High Calling in Jesus Christ (Phil 3:14). They do this by warring NOT against Christ’s enemies in the flesh, but “…against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph 6:12) so as to attain Final Salvation because of the “fruit” being brought into God’s kingdom as “treasure” (Matt 6:19-21).

Stages of spiritual growth

In an attempt to illustrate these requirements, the image below depicts the outline of a very pregnant woman who represents the spiritual nature of the true church of Jesus Christ. Her aim (together with the Holy Spirit) is to produce spiritually alive “children” on the Earth for God the Father to nurture into spiritual maturity.

This analogy of the various local churches producing spiritually “born-again” children relates in the same way as the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary to produce the Holy Child Jesus (Matt 1:18). However in this analogy of the church being likened unto Mary, many more “sons of God” (John 1:12; Rom 8:14) are produced (John 1:12-13) by the TRUE Church of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit — each of which is required to become functioning members of Christ’s spiritual body here on Earth (1 Cor 12:27). Such a requirement is necessary for the church’s members to perform God the Father’s will (Matt 12:50). God’s will is outworked by “the sons of God” in each church congregation using the various “Gifts of the Spirit” given to them (1 Cor 12:1) in the same manner as Jesus used them while on Earth.

The spiritual growth stages God expects Christians to mature through.
The spiritual growth stages God expects Christians to mature through.

To further explain this illustration, located within the woman’s womb is planet Earth, where ‘spiritual seed’ (the Gospel message) is preached into the hearts of unsaved people by Christ’s evangelists (Luke 8:11). The Gospel ‘seed’ is left to germinate in the various types of “soil” within the hearts of those who heard the message (Matt 13:8-9). When germination eventually takes place by God providing the “water“, it produces ‘Saved’ Christians (Rom 10:9-10).

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”

1 Cor 3:6-7

Some of these “Saved” Christians (meaning those who have “good soil” in their hearts – Matt 13:8) manage to attain their ‘new birth’ experience (John 3:8) and enter into God’s spiritual kingdom on Earth as “new-born babes in Christ” (1 Peter 2:2).

However, other Christians seeking the New Birth are often ‘aborted’ along the way because of their preference for ‘religion’ (or by abandoning their faith – 1 Tim 1:19) rather than applying the required effort to study and understand the scriptures. This means they are not truly ‘born-again’ and therefore “cannot see” God’s kingdom on Earth, nor will they be able to “enter into God’s kingdom” (John 3:3, 5) when their time comes at death.

In the image above, the very pregnant woman symbolizes a highly evangelistic and Biblically based church that attracts converts through its outreach programs. Those who mature in sanctification (John 17:17), holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16) and perfection (Matt 5:48) in the Christian life (2 Peter 1:5-8) also become disciples of Jesus Christ to help save more souls from perishing.

Therefore, Initial Salvation is obtained by FAITH ALONE and NO WORKS. It ends in Final Salvation where spiritual “fruit” is continually produced unto God through the exercise of the ‘spiritual gifts’ of individual Christians who actively associate together within a body of believers. It also means they actively associate with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to enable them to produce the required “fruit” for God the Father.

Features of the ‘New Birth’

As the Child of God studies the scriptures and presses into God’s kingdom by demonstrating his or her love for God, this love is demonstrated by their resisting sin from Satan’s temptations in their new life in Christ (1 John 3:16). He or she must also “study to show they are approved unto God” (2 Tim 2:15).

It is at some point in this “striving” to enter God’s kingdom (Luke 13:24) that God the Father chooses to bring His Child into His kingdom via the ‘New Birth’ experience (John 3:3-8). This occurs so that He can place within His child a new heart (Ezek 36:26) that eventually develops the following godly characteristics:

    • A broken spirit (Matt 5:3; 11:28-30; Psalm 51:17; Isa 57:15; 66:2)
    • A penitent spirit (e.g. repentant or remorseful) spirit (Matt 5:4; Isa 61:2; James 4:9; 2 Cor 7:9-11)
    • A mild-tempered, gentle spirit (Matt 5:5; 11:29; Psalm 37:11; 1 Peter 3:4)
    • A spirit that hungers and thirsts for righteousness (Matt 5:6; Psalm 34:10; 42:1-3; 63:1; 84:2; John 7:37-39)
    • A compassionate and merciful spirit (Matt 5:7; 18:27; 1 Peter 3:8)
    • A pure spirit (Matt 5:8; Phil 4:8; 1 Tim. 1:5; 3:9; 5:22; 1 Peter 1:22)
    • A spirit of wisdom and mediation (Matt 5:9; Rom 14:19; 1 Cor 13)
    • A long-suffering and forgiving spirit (Matt 5:10-12; 10:16-28; 1 Cor 13; 1 Peter 3:14-17; 4:3-19)

The Christian’s Initial and Final Salvation is evident by the “works” performed during their life (James 2:26) using the “power of God” to overcome Satan’s forces – Luke 10:19 . Most of these “works” are achieved by working together in unity with God and other Bible-believing Christians (John 4:36-38).

Progressing towards spiritual maturity

The illustration below endeavors to portray growth in the spiritual life of a ‘born-again’ Christian who satisfies God’s ‘conditions’ for securing eternal life with Him after death through the process of Initial and Final Salvation.  A good explanation of what the chart represents can be seen in this brief video.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION with FEAR and TREMBLING [that you might lose it].

Yes, God is blessing me in this ministry, because there are more people like yourself coming to realize that the Bible contains far more requirements for Salvation that any of today’s preachers will acknowledge.

Keep STRIVING to get into God’s kingdom Kelly. Jesus will be there helping you all the way. Keep in touch.

      Blessings to you too! Alan

  3. Hello brother Alan I watched the video about your initial salvation blog. I loved it but i have few things to say to you if you don’t mind
(Note: I am not denying that your blog is inaccurate but rather it is based on truth which is hard to digest for many including me unfortunately)

1:Bible says that Holy spirit is given immediately after people are baptized.
Which will help to produce good fruit
2:it is not necessary that fruits of spirit are speaking in tongues and healing the sick and casting out demons and doing miracles i am not denying that those are not fruits of spirit but I am saying that Holy spirit works differently in everyone
3:after we recieve the gift of God the Holy spirit we are born again but that does not mean that we will never sin again this is beyond what is possible for our human nature to do but rather we will sin way more less we will only stop sinning when we will receive resurrected bodies
To be honest I don’t believe in once save always save thing because I believe as you said in the blog that fruits and works are required to achieved salvation indeed
You also said that only few will be saved in your other blog called rapture I want to say please don’t say this rather leave the Judgment on God and Jesus alone but rather let us all pray that all will be saved through Christ our Lord and saviour Amen.

    1. Hello brother Eshall – thank you for your comments. Much appreciated.

Your point 1 says, “…Holy spirit is given immediately after people are baptized”.

Comment: The Holy Spirit is continually working in unsaved and saved people to ensure that as many as possible will come into God’s kingdom. Naturally, it is Satan’s plan to prevent that from happening – so we have two major spiritual forces working within us using TRUTH and LIES in which to sway us towards their way of thinking. This is why the BIBLE provides the ONLY safe means to navigate through the lies and deceptions about today – especially in the churches with Once Saved, Always Saved doctrine.

In my diagram below, that although not shown, the points between Initial Salvation and the New Birth is where EVERY CHRISTIAN must STRIVE TO ENTER IN – as Jesus plainly stated!

STRIVE TO ENTER IN at the strait gate: for MANY [Christians], I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Luke 13:24)

      Initial and Final Salvation

If Christians prefer to embrace the Once Saved, Always Saved lie, they won’t have thee truly ‘born-again’ experience needed for Salvation (John 3:3-8). Every Christian needs that to happen before the Holy Spirit can impart the spiritual gifts that enables them to bring forth the required “fruit” into God’s kingdom.

God the Holy Spirit does not hand out His ‘gifts’ to anyone who is ‘religious’ (or still of flesh and blood) simply because of this verse of scripture:

Now this I say, brethren, that FLESH AND BLOOD cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” (1 Cor 15:50)

Your point 2 says: “….it is not necessary that fruits of spirit are speaking in tongues and healing the sick…”

Comment: If you picked up a glass jar and observed if there was something inside – that is how people (Saved or Unsaved) detect the presence of the Holy Spirit inside Christians – which is by the spiritual “fruit” they produce as a “tree” planted on God’s kingdom (Mark 8:23-25; Luke 13:6-9).

In other words, in your unsaved state, you may have used foul language, stolen other people’s property, told many lies, committed fornication, etc. etc. In your new ‘born-gain’ life in Christ, what you once represented inside the jar has been replaced with “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance” (Gal 5:22-23) and “goodness, righteousness and truth” (Eph 5:9). Notice the double-portion of “goodness” mentioned here.

The above “fruits” represent the presence of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling presence in the ‘New Man in Christ Jesus’ for others to observe. In contrast to this, the “fruits” God requires being brought into His kingdom are the lost souls in this world – of ALL nations. This ONLY comes about through the preaching of the Gospel.

Your question 3 says: “…after we recieve the gift of God the Holy spirit…that does not mean that we will never sin again…”

If a Christian wants to retain the Holy Spirit’s presence within them, he or she MUST stop sinning!! If the Christian refuses to stop their sinning, the Holy Spirit is very likely to depart from them. If He does, another (evil) spirit from God will take His place. This is what happened to King Saul:

But the Spirit of the Lord DEPARTED FROM SAUL, and AN EVIL SPIRIT FROM THE LORD troubled him.” (1 Samuel 16:14)

ANYONE can choose to keep sinning or to stop sinning. God knows this and Satan knows this. If God’s people choose to keep sinning, then the Bible says they love death, and this will eventually lead to eternal death in the Lake of Fire.

But HE THAT SINNETH AGAINST ME wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me [the wisdom and truth of the Holy Spirit] LOVE DEATH.” (Proverbs 8:36)

Scripture is very clear that ALL those who sin are of their spiritual father – the Devil!

HE THAT COMMITTETH SIN IS OF THE DEVIL; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:19-21)

If you have some time to watch videos, I suggest you watch the 6 parts on my teaching as to how our spiritual organs inside of us function. Everyone (including non-Christians) need to understand this teaching as it is fundamental as to WHY we are placed on the Earth.

Also, I urge you to first watch the video on Water Baptism. Every Christian needs to watch this, as many have unknowingly signed a contract with God AT THEIR WATER BAPTISM that they will fail to keep the terms of and therefore void these terms as stated in the scriptures. I do encourage you to view this 57 minute long video Eshall.

      Blessings Brother!

    2. Hello I think you have confused fruits with spiritual gifts, the gifts are what help you bear spiritual fruits, but you can’t have the spiritual gifts if you’re not working! as you work, your faith is aligned to the will of God, hence character also begins to change, when you read Revelations 7 the Bible says and many who where like sand where saved!

  4. The fruit of a genuine acceptance of Christ is good works,a proof of being saved. Accepting Christ, gives us the fruit of the Holy Spirit and that brings us good works…
A fake acceptance will not produce good works or probably he/ she will still be working for salvation, while genuine acceptance is a result of true faith..
Making good works for salvation means, Christ dying on the cross was not enough so a man needs to do a little work to be saved….wow…not in conformity with your statement s…

  5. Hi Allen
Thank you for facilitating this debate. Have just joined in, and hope that it does not degenerate to empty arguments. Have followed your line of thinking regarding the initial and final salvation and the involvement of works in the equation.
Please explain to me what the Apostle Paul means in Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no can boast.
John 1:12 says “Yet to all who did recieve Him, to, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
    Please also read and explain Roman 4 : 1 – 8
What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter? If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

And lastly Roman 8 : 1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”

    1. Hi Jeff – thanks for your contribution.

Firstly, God’s grace allows us to be in error or to have become offensive towards Him that under normal circumstances would attract His wrath – but His grace prevents that from happening. However, Gal 2:21 warns Christians to NOT frustrate God’s grace otherwise His wrath and His judgment will follow.

Some Christians are good at quoting Ephesians 2:8-9 about grace, but they stop there because the following verse that refers to “works” says this:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.” (Eph 2:8-10)

The Apostle James also reaffirmed that “works” are essential for Salvation in James 2:26. Therefore, I don’t intend to bring forth a long thesis about “works” being required for Salvation when this has been clearly discussed in my post above.

In response to your query on Romans 4:1–8, these verses relate to Abraham when he first met God – and prior to him having to offer up Isaac as a sacrificial offering. In this, God told Abraham to do this to his son, so Abraham in FAITH ONLY did what God told him to do – no “works” involved. Once God witnessed the faithfulness of Abraham in obeying His command, God not only provided an alternative sacrifice in the bushes, but He blessed Abraham and called him “the Friend of God”.

“Was not Abraham our father justified by WORKS, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how FAITH WROUGHT WITH HIS WORKS, and BY WORKS WAS FAITH MADE PERFECT? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called THE FRIEND OF GOD. 24 Ye see then how THAT BY WORKS A MAN IS JUSTIFIED, AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD [faith] also.” (James 2:21-26)

In your remaining comments, you try to justify “faith without works” as being just as acceptable for Salvation as to the necessary “works” mentioned above. You can theorize about the scriptures as much as you like, but the reality is that Jesus seeks for willing labourers to serve Him in His vineyard – some of which will work ALL day for just a “penny”; and others who will “work” for the last hour of the day for the same “penny”:

“For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for A PENNY A DAY, he sent them into his vineyard.” (Matt 20:1-2)

“And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day” (Matt 20:9-12)

The point here is that Christ seeks for “labourers” (without wages) who are prepared to perform “work” that produces a “harvest” being brought into His kingdom. If those who like to be called by His name refuse to perform any “work” because they have a theological belief that what Christ is saying means something different, then feel free to believe whatever you like, Jeff. God gives every man the freedom to believe whatever they like.

As for me, I love “labouring” in Christ’s kingdom. It has been an absolute joy since becoming a “fisher of men’s souls” (Matt 4:19) for Jesus. You should try it sometime Jeff. If you don’t enjoy “fishing:”, then Christ provides “wheat harvesting” (Matt 3:12) as an alternative.

Christians have to realize that when the Rapture occurs, it is only those “good and faithful servants” of Christ’s who will be in that glorious company. This has been decreed in the Bible so that the results of their “works” can be passed through the flames to determine the rewards Christ will give them:

His lord said unto him, Well done, THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21)

“Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 EVERY MAN’S WORK WILL BE MADE MANIFEST: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and THE FIRE SHALL TRY EVERY MAN’S WORK OF WHAT SORT IT IS. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (1 Cor 3:12-15)

It MUST be pointed out here that to get into Heaven to have one’s “works” passed through the flames, one must have performed “work” while on the earth to have their works judged for a reward. NO WORK means NO ENTRY INTO HEAVEN at the Rapture TO HAVE THE WORKS JUDGED!

On the other hand, for those Christians whom Christ has called into serving Him but prefer to “bury their talents in the earth” through fear of sharing their faith with others – this is what Christ will say to them at the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev 20:11):

“Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was AFRAID [of sharing my faith], and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, THOU WICKED AND SLOTHFUL SERVANT, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath [meaning, to forfeit their Salvation]. 30 And cast ye THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt 25:24-30)

We either believe these warnings about Christians failing to produce “work” for Christ, or we don’t, Jeff. God gives every Christian their free will choice to believe or not believe.

Finally, you quote Rom 8:1 but conveniently leave off the CONDITION attached to it that ensures there is “no condemnation. In this, the King James Bible says:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Rom 8:1)

I suggest you read some of my other articles to appreciate what “walking in the Spirit” really means. I hope this answers your questions, Jeff.

      Blessings.

  6. Hello sir, I am Among from India.First of all, I thank Lord Jesus for letting me encounter/know you. I have just gone through the various comments and your teachings. Even though I am a believer of Christ, yet I still had many confusions of the biblical teachings but now I am able to understand and clarify my doubts. Thank you sir.. you are and will be a blessing to many like me around the world. I would be grateful again sir if you help me by specifying more about the first resurrection, the next phase of the first resurrection about which I came through in one of your responses and finally about the second resurrection. Thank you.

    1. Dear Among – thank you so much for your comments and especially your question. All praise and glory to Jesus! My answer to your question is this.

There are TWO Resurrections that occur 1,000-years apart:

      1. THE FIRST RESURRECTION has six parts to it. It is God’s way of caring for those of His people who have served Him faithfully during their lifetime on Earth.

      a. Christ the First-fruits of the Resurrection (1 Cor 15:20, 23).
      b. The Old Testament Saints (Matt 27:52-53)
      c. The New Testament (born-again) Saints (1 Thes 4:15-18)
      d. The 144,000 Jewish “Manchild” (Rev 12:1-5)
      e. The Tribulation Saints (Rev 6:9-11)
      f. The Two Witnesses (Rev 11:7-12)

      2. THE SECOND RESURRECTION

This occurs some 1,000-years after the First Resurrection.

It is the resurrection of the unjust, wicked and Christ-rejecting individuals who have lived since the days of Cain and Abel. It also includes multitudes of Christians (over the past 2,000-years) who have been deceived by Satan and his “ministers of righteous” preaching false doctrines in the pulpits (2 Cor 11:14-15).

The reference to the “thousand years” time period between the two resurrections refers to the millennial reign of Jesus Christ taking place first as Him being King of kings and Lord of lords after He establishes His kingdom and His throne in Jerusalem at the end of the Tribulation period.

(Rev 20:6) “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him A THOUSAND YEARS.”

After this period ends, Satan is “loosed” from his prison in the Bottomless Pit and another rebellion takes place on the Earth. It is here that Christ then casts him and those who rebelled into the Lake of Fire with the Antichrist and the False Prophet (Rev 20:10).

The Second Resurrection then takes place prior to His saints living with Christ in the New Jerusalem with God the Father. All of what I have said is written in the scripture verses of Rev 20: 5-15 below.

“But the rest of the dead [the sinners in Hell] lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in THE FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him A THOUSAND YEARS.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about [Christ’s Jerusalem in the Millennium], and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a GREAT WHITE THRONE, and him [Jesus Christ] that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books [of each person] were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Rev 20: 5-15)

I hope this answers your question Among

  7. Thank you thank you very much now I understand everything about salvation this information will benefit me thank you and God bless you.

    1. Holle thank you these explanation is good and I think true because the faith without moral and good deeds is nothing to benefit others and attract them everyone loves faith but real faith which mixed with all good deeds without any harm , wrong, impoliteness, aggressive act, faith is a reality in soul of everyone but is hided so if someone is going to find the reality at end will be understood that his or her goal was the same faith was missed.the faith order and recommend to be kind with your parent and others, help weaknesses in mind and education ,poors …

    2. I’m sorry but you need to pray and review your concept about “working out your salvation”. When Paul wrote this, he was speaking about believers, urging them to 1) keep the faith 2) do good 3) continue in prayer 4) go tell the gospel to others. These works are not to attain eternal life. We already have eternal life in Jesus our Yahshua. By His blood, body, and holy spirit.

      1. Dear Pius – where you say,

“We already have eternal life in Jesus our Yahshua. By His blood, body, and holy spirit.”

what you are saying is that you are only relying on Initial Salvation to Save you, and that you are not compelled to do “good works” that the Bible defines as:

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8

        “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

If we ignore the above commandments given by Jesus to His disciples, the question remains:

        • Do we love Jesus in the manner He requires?
        • If we fail to undertake the required “works” as “laborers in God’s kingdom” – how can we be considered worthy of a reward?

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” 1 Cor 3:13-14

Maybe you could comment on these points Pius?

        Blessings!

          1. Thank you for your comment Ruth, as it is encouraging.

I feel like the message I am preaching is coming from “the voice of ONE crying in the wilderness” (Matt 3:3) but only a handful hear and or take the time to respond like you and others here.

Please pass on links to my article to you family, friends and other Christians you know. Social media can be very helpful to do this.

            Blessings Ruth!

  8. Hello, my name is Lin Kel and I am in tears; after reviewing and listening to this site on “Initial and Final Salvation”. I was convicted to self-examine myself on my works and my faith, which in returned compelled me to bear more fruit.
For years I taught in Sunday school, Mission, carried this message on my job etc., however, I wasn’t satisfied and felt the need to do more.
After my trip to Jerusalem, I felt more compelled to do more in spreading this gospel. After listening to the steps on this video I have a broader understanding on bearing fruit by faith with works; for they both works together.
I don’t want to stand at judgement and be told that I did not meet the criteria of “faith” with “works”! For we know that “harvest is plenteous but few laborers Matt 9:37. We must be a laborer bearing fruits via faith.
I appreciate this powerful message and the vast amount of information that I can share with others. It is my prayer that it won’t fall on death ears!
Thank you so much for sharing; for convicting my heart; for getting me on the right path: Please feel free to send me more information to help me and to share with others!
Love it my brother & may God bless you!

    1. Dear Sister Lin,

It was a pleasure to meet you on Facebook and for us combine our understanding of the scriptures to tear down the arguments of the Sabbath Keepers. I felt very encouraged by your comments.

It is now a great pleasure to read your comments since reading my blog articles. This is very encouraging, as most Christians visit once or twice and then move on.

The world has now moved into a spiritually darker place since the virus panic commenced and this represents a BIG step closer to the Rapture.

I believe it is time for Christians to re-evaluate what their faith represents by comparing the ‘gospel’ they have believed with what the Bible plainly states.

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth…?” (Gal 3:1)

If any Christian has believed a false gospel (as proven by the Bible), such individuals need to:

      1. CONFESS to Jesus (1 John 1:9) they have been deceived by Satan’s servants (the ‘hirelings in the pulpits – John 10:13),
      2. REPENT (Rom 2:4) from their laziness to discover such truth; to then bring forth the
      3. “FRUITS OF REPENTANCE” (Luke 3:8) say, by promoting this site and what it teaches to other Christians – while the internet remains online.

God bless you Lin. I am looking forward to further conversations and online Bible studies with you.

      Your brother in Christ, Alan

  9. Hi my name is Curtis Lezama I thank God for you and the opportunity to share in this truth. I am from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean and there is a revival taking place in which many of these scriptural truths are being brought up and practiced. The Bride of Christ is making herself ready for his return. Thanks

    1. Dear Curtis – you are the second Christian from Trinidad (that I know of) to place a comment on my blog.

I had no idea that Paul’s Gospel of Initial and Final Salvation (Rom 2:16) had had any impact in the broader Christian community until now. PRAISE THE LORD for Him touching the hearts of those who love His words in Trinidad. I am experiencing unspeakable joy of hearing this news, Curtis!

Please keep me informed as to how the revival is progressing. Please post any updated comments on this page so that others can experience this joy also.

Many blessings to all your brothers and sisters in Christ in Trinidad. Alan

  10. Thanks for your subject that is Initial and Final Salvation. God’s plan. It is so good and gave spiritual strength.

    1. Dear Rev. Dr. Kumar,

Thank you for taking the time to comment on this new teaching that you recognize is “God’s Plan”.

I’m so pleased to learn it agreed with your understanding of scripture and that it has strengthened you. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 133:1-3)!

We all need to be encouraged and strengthened in the days ahead (considering the Caronavirus outbreak world wide) while “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Eph 5:16).

      Blessings! Alan

  11. Dear Alan, I agree totally with ‘Faith without works is dead’ and everything else that you explained except when you mentioned that when we die we go straight to heaven. The bible clearly says that the dead are asleep in their graves awaiting Jesus’ return at His second coming to be resurrected either in the first resurrection (God’s people to eternal life) or the second resurrection (the others to eternal death). When the thief on the cross asked Jesus to remember him when He comes, Jesus responded to the thief by simply saying today, because of your faith, you can rest assured that you will be with me in Paradise (when He comes back to claim His own). God bless you and enlighten you as you continue to research the scriptures.
Ps. And another thing it should be the ‘gospel of Jesus Christ’ not ours. Pleasant day brother.

    1. Dear Eileen – thank you so much for your most welcome comments. May Jesus Christ be glorified throughout our discussion.

      Firstly, you said,

“…you mentioned that when we die we go straight to heaven. The bible clearly says that the dead are asleep in their graves awaiting Jesus’ return at His second coming to be resurrected either in the first resurrection…”

There are several scriptures that indicate that there is no-soul sleep mentioned in the Bible as you imply. The soul (and spirit) within each of us is eternal and live on throughout eternity. Once our corrupting or ageing bodies die (and can no longer sustain life – or they are killed), they go to their graves to return to dust (Eccl 12:7), but our “Inward Man” (2 Cor 4:16) that comprises our spirit and our soul goes to be with Jesus at death to await the First Resurrection – or to Hell, to await the Second resurrection and the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev 20:11).

The scripture verses below prove that our Inward Man goes to Jesus IF we meet the conditions for Salvation as specified in the scriptures:

“We are confident, I say, and willing [for the Inward Man] rather to be absent from the body [at death], and to be present with the Lord [immediately after and NOT waiting in the dust of the earth].” (2 Cor 5:8)

“Let not your heart be troubled [about dying]: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are MANY MANSIONS: if it were not so, I [Jesus] would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3)

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, TODAY shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:42-44)

In this last scripture quotation, Jesus is saying to the Penitent Thief “TODAY shalt thou be with me in paradise” (in the Lower parts of the earth – the Bosom of Abraham (Luke 16:20-31). After three full days and three full nights had passed and Jesus had been raised from the dead, He then placed His own shed blood at Calvary on the altar in Heaven as representing the one true sacrifice for sins – ONCE (Heb 9:12).

After completing this High Priestly duty, He then returned and resurrected the Old Testament saints from their graves into their new, glorified, resurrected bodies (Matt 27:52-53) and Jesus took them to Heaven soon after to present them before our Heavenly Father as representing His triumph and victory over Sin, Satan and Death (Col 2:15)!

Naturally, the Penitent Thief was there with the Old Testament saints in His glorified body also. Since then, ALL truly “born-again” Christians who have met the conditions for Salvation depart their bodies at death and remain as disembodied souls in their mansions in Heaven awaiting the resurrection of their bodies at the Rapture, which represents the next phase of the First Resurrection.

If this scenario is not true Eileen, then where in scripture (using more than one scripture reference) does it plainly state that that the soul resides in the dust to await the resurrection?

So, I hope this answers your question on where our ‘Inner Man’ goes to after our body dies.

Also – I used the term “My Gospel” because it represents Paul’s Gospel (Romans 2:16) that I have resurrected from the scriptures, as it opposes what is preached throughout the churches today. In the literal sense it is NOT ‘My Gospel’, it is ‘Paul’s Gospel’. I hope that clarifies this point.

Thanks for your questions and many blessings!

      Alan

  12. Hey i am really blessed..I don’t know how I got here I am illiterate when it comes to electronics. I just love the way you teach .God has blessed you with intelligence. I have a question. When God sent Jesus here to be born as a son of man, didn’t that mean that there was a slight possibility that Jesus could fall into sin.I don’t want to believe that Jesus Christ was just immune to fall to temptation that I think will make the prize He purchased me with reasonable as He would be not struggling to be human free of sin. The problem is I am not intelligent enough to prove my point with Bible texts. Help me out. What ever you say I will take it as counsel. Stay blessed.

    1. Hi Nono – thanks so much for your post and for your comments.

      First up is your question:

“When God sent Jesus here to be born as a son of man, didn’t that mean that there was a slight possibility that Jesus could fall into sin.”

The short answer to your question is “Yes”. This is because Jesus was born under the Laws of Moses (handed down at Mt. Sinai – Lev 26:46) that are contained throughout the Book of Leviticus. No man (even Moses) was able to abide by them all (Numbers 20:10-12) and so this was another reason why God required a sacrificial animal at Passover to atone for the sins of the people every year (Heb 10:1).

However, when Christ came to the Earth as a new-born baby, He came (at the First Coming) in the form of sinful flesh that exposed Him to all of the lusts, passions, desires in Him as every human often craves for.

Throughout His 33-years on the Earth, Satan would have motivated many of his woman (slaves) to try to entice Christ to lust after them and to then follow this by encouraging the sexual act. A similar thing no doubt occurred with (say) the theft of small items and even to allow a ‘white lie’ to pass by unnoticed. Christ resisted ALL of these temptations and MORE, because He was on a mission to SAVE humanity from Hell – the place God created for the sinning angels and all of humanity who commit sin (2 Peter 2:4).

We must also remember that Christ RE-created the Earth from its watery state of judgment depicted in Genesis 1:2 so as to do the “works” (Col 1:15-17) that He had seen His Father do and came to finish (John 5:36). If you don’t know these things, please take the time to read my 5 articles on The Generations of the Heavens and the Earth.

In summary, Christ (as God) “humbled Himself” (Phil 2:8) to become a man and so exposed Himself to the weaknesses of human flesh for food, housing (Matt 8:20), sexual gratification and many other human weaknesses humanity suffers from daily – but He overcame them ALL. He was found BLAMELESS under the Law of Moses – a perfect man that no other man in recorded history was found blameless under the Law. This feature of being found ‘sinless’ then enabled Him to be called “The [perfect] Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

Prior to Christ commencing His ministry for the remaining three years of His life, He went on a forty day fast in the wilderness (Matt 4:1) to allow His body in its extreme weakness to crave food and water and so expose Himself to Satan’s final temptations – so there could be no doubt that Christ was fighting Satan on equal terms. As we know from the scripture, when Satan tempted Christ with his offers and dares, Christ responded each time with “It is written…” (Matt 4:4; Matt 4:7; Matt 4:10). It was in this way that Christ overcame Satan and has set the pattern of how Christ requires every Christian who refers to themselves as a Disciple of Jesus Christ to similarly OVERCOME Satan’s temptations to commit sin.

To him that OVERCOMETH [Satan’s temptations] will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I ALSO OVERCAME [Satan’s temptations], and am set down with my Father in his throne.” (Rev 3:21)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

When Jesus Christ was placed on the cross and the soldiers were hammering the nails into the palms of His hands and the ankles of His feet (John 20:25), the scripture says that He kept His mouth shut (Acts 8:32) – and not even a cry of the pain being experienced was heard from Him. He did this because He knew that if He accidentally cursed a soldier for doing his job, that Christ could have sinned and therefore forfeited all He had achieved over the previous 33-years.

Does that answer your question, Nono?

Finally you say, “The problem is I am not intelligent enough to prove my point with Bible texts.”

In response I say you are far more “intelligent” than many other Christians I have encountered Nono – because you were bold and humble enough to write a comment and ask me a question. Your question also shows that you LOVE TRUTH! Simply loving TRUTH (2 Thess 2:10 – and whatever it reveals) demonstrates that you have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit within you (John 16:13). Having His presence WITHIN YOU is worth far- far more than “intelligence” as you put it.

In closing, I find most Christians today prefer what is called ‘Relative Truth’. This could also be termed ‘Convenient Truth’ because it means they will only accept whatever fits within their religious view of things. This is because their ‘convenient truths’ don’t relate to scripture – because they relate more to the doctrines and the traditions of men (Mark 7:9) rather than the truths of God (Psalm 31:5).

      Blessings, Nono.

    2. Hi bro Allan,

I’m bro Edgar B. Villadolid from, Manila Philippines. I was blessed & convinced by your explanation on initial & final salvation. I gain a lot for this info..

God bless you more & your mininstry. I hope you can send me topics/books about strengthening christian faith.

    1. Hello Jose’ – welcome back to the discussion.

I am very grateful to you to bring up the topic of the number of “Crowns” awarded to the saints for faithful service.

My little study that I have just completed has proven that there are in fact TEN Crowns mentioned in the scriptures and not just the three you referred to.

      Ten Crowns in Scripture

      1. Crown of honor (Proverbs 12:4; Proverbs 17:6; Esther 8:15; Job 19:9)
      2. Crown of kings (2 Samuel 12:30; Esther 1:11; Esther 2:17; Rev. 19:12-16)
      3. High Priest’s crown (Exodus 29:6)
      4. Crown of pride (Isaiah 28:1-5)
      5. Crown of thorns (Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17; John 19:2-5)
      6. Crown of glory (1 Peter 5:4; Proverbs 4:9; Proverbs 16:31; Isaiah 62:3)
      7. Crown of righteousness (2 Tim. 4:8)
      8. Crown of life (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10)
      9. Incorruptible crown (1 Cor. 9:25)
      10. Soul winner’s crown (1 Thes. 2:19)

Therefore I would assume that ‘born-again’ Christians through the “works” they produce in this life will inherit the following crowns extracted from the above list:

      • (1) Crown of honor (Proverbs 12:4; Proverbs 17:6; Esther 8:15; Job 19:9)
      • (2) Crown of kings (2 Samuel 12:30; Esther 1:11; Esther 2:17; Rev. 19:12-16)
      • (6) Crown of glory (1 Peter 5:4; Proverbs 4:9; Proverbs 16:31; Isaiah 62:3)
      • (7) Crown of righteousness (2 Tim. 4:8)
      • (8) Crown of life (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10)
      • (9) Incorruptible crown (1 Cor. 9:25)
      • (10) Soul winner’s crown (1 Thes. 2:19)

What do you think about that Jose’? Does your head have the capacity to accommodate 7 crowns?

Secondly, about your comments (that I made) where the scriptures say that “ABRAHAM WAS TEMPTED BY GOD”, this word is found in the verse below in the KJV Bible that I included in my quotation:

“And it came to pass after these things, that GOD DID TEMPT Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.” (Genesis 22:1)

I appreciate that your comment “let me correct u.. GOD NEVER, EVER TEMPT ANYONE..y?? because we will sin so…”

You are correct in saying this, as the Hebrew word “nacah” was translated as “tempt” in the KJV rather than “…to test, prove” as used in the scripture verses below as revealed in Strong’s Concordance.

      “Genesis 22:1
a[tempt] Hebrew: nacah (HSN-5254), to test, prove. No inducement to sin is implied
      (Exodus 15:25; Exodus 16:4; Exodus 20:20; Deut. 8:2,16; 2 Samuel 22:31; 2 Chron.
      9:1; 2 Chron. 32:31; Psalm 26:2; Proverbs 17:3; Hebrews 11:17; 1 Peter 1:7; cp. James 1:12-13)”

I hope my comments here have added to the conversation here Jose’. Thank you so much!

      Blessings! Alan

      1. Hi. bro.ALLAN. your question was /Do my head have d Capacity to acomodate 7 crowns. well! that’s a good question!! d Bible literally use d word CROWNS
but do it really mean Crowns!! this d way I take it. first of all not all saved will recieve d crowns. y?? because u will have those that when Christ will try our works he will use fire to test your work & there r some that their work will burnt completely. there will b lost but they will still b saved. ( I tried to look and remember where is that verse but I just can’t find it.) the Bible literally use so much crowns but is there anything impossible to GOD ? NO!! so he will make sure I will get all my crowns as long as I have worked for it… another example.. when so many people converted & received d HOLY SPIRIT. in d book of ACTS. did d Holy Spirit devided himself as he filled all d faithfuls? I am a Christian & u r 1. & we both have d Holy Spirit of GOD so..

        1. Hello Jose’ – thanks for your comments and your questions. Below are my responses.

          First, you said:

“…not all saved will recieve d crowns. y??”

You are correct when you said “y??”. Jesus confirmed this when a disciple asked if only “FEW Christians will be saved?” In His response, Jesus warned His disciples to “STRIVE to enter into God’s kingdom, for many Christians will seek to enter in but shall not be able” (Luke 13:23-24)

          Second, you say:

“…because u will have those that when Christ will try our works he will use fire to test your work & there r some that their work will burnt completely. there will b lost but they will still b saved.”

What you are referring to is this passage of scripture:

“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” (1 Cor 3:13).

My response is that Christians will NOT be (Finally) Saved, because they won’t be in Heaven to observe their “works” passing through the flames because Christ will have rejected them at the Rapture because of their failure to produce the required “fruit” unto God (John 15:5). If today’s Christians FAIL to undertake the required “works” that produce spiritual “fruit” which is produced from Jesus the Vine (John 15:1-2), then NO WORKS means NO SALVATION and therefore NO ENTRY into Heaven.

          PROOF:

Not every [professing Christian] one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 MANY [Christians left behind after the Rapture] will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:21-23)

In addition to this, ALL spiritual Christians who are found worthy by Christ to be in the Rapture will have produced the necessary “works” that are equal to:

          • Gold
          • Silver
          • Precious stones
          • Wood
          • Hay
          • stubble (1 Cor 3:12-13)

To provide a few examples of the “works” that equate to “wood, hay and stubble” in value; these could be:

          • visiting the poor, the sick and the homeless (James 1:27)
          • providing some form of care for them (Luke 10:33-37)
          • taking care of widows in the church (1 Tim 5:8-10)

In other words, the above listed “works” would be regarded by the “flames” as being worthless. This means that God expects His people on the Earth to do these things without thinking about them. They should be a part of our Christian DNA as being the “sons of God” (Rom 8:14). If Christians don’t do them, can Jesus or God refer to such Christians as “sons of God”? Probably not.

To provide a few examples of the “works” that equate to “gold, silver and precious stones” in value; these could be:

          • preaching the gospel to unsaved sinners in street ministry (Matt 24:14)
          • they shall “cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18)
          • Join with other like-minded spiritual Christians (Rom 8:1) as spiritual members of the Body of Christ on Earth (1 Cor 12:4-27) to perform God’s will in destroying Satan’s kingdom (2 Timothy 2:3-4).

If Christians falsely believe they will somehow enter into Heaven and become “saved from the flames” because of “faith ONLY” (and no works – 1 Cor 3:15), then he or she has another reality waiting for them. It means they have been deceived (Matt 24:4).

          You then referred to

“If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire”

This verse refers to the Christian who has “STRIVED to enter into God’s kingdom” (Luke 13:24) but has failed for some reason to produce the necessary “gold, silver or precious stones” works. In this, he (or she) would have visited the widows and the orphans and fed the poor so that their “wood, hay and stubble” works were burned up by the flames – yet their heart and their determination were enough to get them to that point. This is where the compassion, mercy and love of God is seen towards those who have a heart to truly love God, His Son Jesus Christ and the many truths contained in His word.

          Your Final Question:

You made the following statement Jose’:

“when so many people converted & received d HOLY SPIRIT. in d book of ACTS. did d Holy Spirit devided himself as he filled all d faithfuls?”

The answer is “No” – He doesn’t “divide Himself”. The Holy Spirit first indwells anyone and everyone who confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord. This is termed being “Saved” (Rom 10:9-10; John 14:17).

From this point onward, the Holy Spirit wants every new Christian to commence reading and studying the words that He wrote using the forty “holy men of God” over the past 3,500 years (2 Peter 1:21) to record His words in the Bible.

For those Christians who fail to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal His truths to them, He will depart their bodies as He will see He is no longer wanted for the purpose in which He took up residence. After He leaves, another ‘religious’ spirit will take His place. This is usually termed the ‘Spirit of Error’ (1 John 4:6).

Therefore, the Holy Spirit is known to be Omnipotent (all powerful), Omniscient (all knowing), and Omnipresent (present everywhere). He dwells where He is wanted and departs when He is not wanted. He will only associate with other false (or evil) spirits dwelling within a Christian IF He believes the Christian wants His help to overcome their lies and deceptions. If Christians have a “love of the truth” that He reveals to them (2 Thes 2:10), he or she will grow spiritually and ultimately can be used by Him to do God the Father’s will (Matt 7:21) and so bring glory to Christ.

I hope this answers your questions, Jose’.

          Blessings!

  14. I am sorry to contradict your teaching. but when Christ was on d point of dying his words was IT IS FINISHED. what does that mean?? it is complete. no need to add anything to d work that Christ performed on d cross… what did PAUL told d faithful when some false teachers filtered secretly into d congregati on in galatians when those false teacher were saying that for a complete salvation they néed To circumsize. .I LEFT U IN D SPIRIT AND NOW U R AGAIN IN D FLESH…conclusion no need of work for salvation. so there is no initiative nor final salvation. d work that a christian does after convertion is conditional… u will receive your reward after d rapture which is 5 CROWNS OK. in Hebrew chapter 11 d Bible says that Abraham was saved by faith and all d rest that r mentioned in that chapter. d theif that died with Christ didn’t had an initial nor final salvation. but he is in heaven that was Christ!s words and he will not have a second chance as d Jehova witresses claims so pardon me but I do not believe your teaching so u don’t need to answer my coment because it final…

    1. Dear José,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about this topic. I have decided to respond because others reading your comments will wonder why I have not responded. So for what its worth, here are my comments to several of your claims.

      Firstly, you say:

“…but when Christ was on d point of dying his words was IT IS FINISHED. what does that mean??”

My response is that Jesus Christ came to the Earth to REDEEM IT from sin. In this, Christ’s birth, death and resurrection relates to “the corn of wheat falling into the ground, dying and then springing up again into new life”.

” Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John 12:24-25)

Please note that Jesus said in this parable that “…if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” This statement is one of the basic principles that this blog preaches – that Christians MUST bring forth an abundance of spiritual fruit unto God during their lifetime on the Earth (John 15:5). Any failure to do so will see such Christians (as “branches”) pruned from Jesus Christ (“The Vine”) by God the Father and then cast aside to spiritually “whither” for later burning in the Lake of Fire (John 15:6).

So, when Christ died on the cross and said these words “IT IS FINISHED”, He was saying that His purpose for coming to the Earth had been fulfilled. In this, He:

      • had defeated EVERY temptation to sin throughout His 33-years of life on the Earth as defined in the Law of Moses; (Heb 4:15)
      • Had defeated Satan’s personal temptations; (Matt 4:1-11)
      • had defeated death and Hell. (Rev 1:18)

After having achieved such a victory, Christ’s final statement “IT IS FINISHED” is reflected that He no longer had to fight these issues. He had achieved all that he set out to do from His birth.

      Secondly, you said:

“what did PAUL told d faithful when some false teachers filtered secretly into d congregati on in galatians when those false teacher were saying that for a complete salvation they néed To circumsize. .I LEFT U IN D SPIRIT AND NOW U R AGAIN IN D FLESH…conclusion no need of work for salvation”

My response is that in Romans 8:1, it demands that Christians “walk in the Spirit and NOT in the Flesh“. This means that Christians MUST be spiritually “born-again” into God’s kingdom and to be able to “see” and report on what they have seen as Christ plainly stated in the scripture verse below:

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he CANNOT SEE the kingdom of God” (John 3:3)

So, what you are saying has nothing to do with circumcision here (as relating to “flesh”) but of living a life that “walks in the Spirit”. This is because a religious life composed of the Doctrines and traditions of men has no real spiritual relationship with Christ and therefore represents “walking in the flesh”.

      Thirdly, you say,

“…u will receive your reward after d rapture which is 5 CROWNS OK”

Maybe you might like to provide a Bible reference to the “5 CROWNS” José. If you are referring to the parables of the FIVE Talents (Matt 25:14-30) that required those to whom these were given to trade with and to double their value (meaning to turn FIVE into TEN) then this required “WORK” to be performed – yes, that dreaded four-letter word. Maybe you might like to clarify your point here José?

Finally, you referred to Abraham who was “saved by faith and all d rest that r mentioned in that chapter…[and] didn’t had an initial nor final salvation”. Sorry, but the scriptures contradict what you say, José.

In this, Abraham became “the Friend of God” (James 2:23) because He “BELIEVED GOD” – this represents Initial Salvation through FAITH ALONE!

Next, God put Abraham to the test by requiring him to take a journey up a mountain and offer his only son as a human sacrifice on an altar:

“…God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of…And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” (Gen 22 1-18)

The point here was that if Abraham had NOT FEARED GOD (as it is with most Christians today) then He would not have made the 3-day journey to Mt. Moriah to kill his ONLY son for God – in faith. He would have stayed at home and enjoyed his family. Such FAITH combined with “WORKS OF FAITH” represented Abraham’s Final Salvation!

In conclusion, there are a great deal of spiritual truths contained in the Bible that we all need to become aware of. The aim of this blog is to share what I have discovered with God’s people and for others to share what they have learned with me so that we can all grow together in faith, knowledge, wisdom and understanding in the things of God (Proverbs 9:10).

      Blessings José, Alan

      1. with regards to d 5 crowns. I mention in my coment. actually it is 3 crowns.. there is a repetition of 2. sorry!! but I am not a pastor. I am just part of my congregation. ok!! n d crowns… u can find them in 1… 1 corintians9:25 ( the incorruptible, and every man that strives for d mastery is temperate in all things. now they do it to obtain a corruptible, but we… an incorruptible crown. 2.. 2 Timothy 4: 7 ,8..I fought d good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept d faith. v9 here after there is laid up for me a CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS…. and 3.. james1:12.. blessed is d man that endures temptation, for when he is tried he shall recieve the crown of live.. so.. to obtain all those crown WORK is required. u will not obtain it for free… of course as usual u will give it a different interpretation. at your convenience. sorry!! and u said that ABRAHAM WAS TEMPTED BY GOD.. when asked to offer his son as a scrifice!!! let me correct u.. GOD NEVER, EVER TEMPT ANYONE..y?? because we will sin so… Satan do always tempt us. no denial. GOD TESTED ABRAHAM OF HIS FAITH AND LOVE. FOR GOD. y?? because he knew that Abraham was not going to let him down or left him in shame. likewise JOB, HE SHOWED Satan THAT JOB WAS NOT GOING TO PUT HIM TO SHAME.
Job 1:8 and d Lord said unto satan, HAVE CONSIDERED MY SERVANT JOB….?.even though Job’s wife tried to tempt her husband, influenced by satan of course.. pardon me but I think I answered..u

        1. Thank you so much for your kind comments Sarah. Like you, ALL praise and glory goes to God who has helped me put these teachings together.

Let me know if you have any questions, Sarah.

          Blessings! Alan

      2. Sorry to coment this way bro. But u will not convinced me of an initial & final salvation by works…first of all u said that those christians I referred to of thier works tried by fire & did burnt. They r Christians who actually did not work after convertion u will find that verse in 1cor 3:15 my Bible says it clearly HE SHALL SUFFER LOSS, BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL B SAVED I don’t c anything saying that he is not a christian.. if we will talk about fake christians John 10:26 but u believe not, because u r not of my sheep ( talking to d farisees.) & they were jelous of d Mosiac Law & believe that they r true beliEvers. & there is a verse that says in d Epistle & goes this way. They were among us but they r not of us. Because if they we’re to b of us they would have stayed with us.. ( The Apostate) & another verse is In Jude verse 4b who were b4 of old ordained to this CONDEMNATION. They claim to b & they r not christians. Sorry to b like a judge but that d true reality. & last but not least salvation is never lost if u r indeed a true christian. Bought or redeem by D precious BLOOD OF CHRIST poured out on d calvary cross.. which is pure and holy than the blood of d lamb sacrificed in d old testament, that only covered d sins of man .whIle d blood of Christ indeed washes away sins as of d words of John d Baptist. With regards to u saying that any fake christians d Holy Spirit will eventually come out of that christian. Well in 1 tess.5: 19 quench not D Spirit. I would agree that in d old testament d Holy Spirit do come out. In d case of SAMSON. & of a King that help out with d construction of d walls of Jerusalem. So…I have more but will leave it as it is for now…

        1. Dear bro Jose’ – welcome back, and thanks so much for your questions!

          Firstly, you say:

“…first of all u said that those christians I referred to of thier works tried by fire & did burnt. They r Christians who actually did not work after convertion..”

No, I did not say that Jose. What I said was this:

“My response is that Christians will NOT be (Finally) Saved, because they won’t be in Heaven to observe their “works” passing through the flames because Christ will have rejected them at the Rapture because of their failure to produce the required “fruit” unto God (John 15:5). If today’s Christians FAIL to undertake the required “works” that produce spiritual “fruit” which is produced from Jesus the Vine (John 15:1-2), then NO WORKS means NO SALVATION and therefore NO ENTRY into Heaven.”

I feel I should clarify this point.

          1. Once Christians are “Initially Saved” (Rom 10:9-10; Mark 16:16) Christ requires them to “Strive to enter into God’s kingdom” (Luke 13:24).
          2. If Christians fail to “Strive” by preferring to embrace a religious view of the Christian life, this means they can never produce and “works” or the spiritual “fruit” required.
          3. If there is “NO works”, then there is no salvation (James 2:26).
          4. If there is “NO works” to pass through the flames, then such Christians will NOT be in heaven to see other Christian’s works being passed through the flames.

To confirm this claim, Jesus said to those rejected Christians left behind AFTER the Rapture:

“Not every one [calling themselves a Christian] that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many [religious Christians] will say to me in that day [following the Rapture], Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:21-23)

For those Christians who manage to get to heaven and have NO WORKS worthy of rewards but are saved by grace alone, I said this:

“To provide a few examples of the “works” that equate to “wood, hay and stubble” in value; these could be:

          • – visiting the poor, the sick and the homeless (James 1:27)
          • – providing some form of care for them (Luke 10:33-37)
          • – taking care of widows in the church (1 Tim 5:8-10)

In other words, the above listed “works” would be regarded by the “flames” as being worthless. This means that God expects His people on the Earth to do these things without thinking about them. They should be a part of every Christian’s DNA as being the “sons of God” (Rom 8:14). If Christians don’t do them, can Jesus or God refer to such Christians as “sons of God”? Probably not.”

I then referred to your reference of 1 Cor 3:15 and made the following statement:

“This verse refers to the Christian who has “STRIVED to enter into God’s kingdom” (Luke 13:24) but has failed for some reason to produce the necessary “gold, silver or precious stones” works. In this, he (or she) would have visited the widows and the orphans and fed the poor so that their “wood, hay and stubble” works were burned up by the flames – yet their heart and their determination were enough to get them to that point. This is where the compassion, mercy and love of God is seen towards those who have a heart to truly love God, His Son Jesus Christ and the many truths contained in His word.”

I don’t know how else to explain this further, Jose’

We have to remember that there are THREE types of Christians that can be found in the churches:

          1. The religious Christian.
This person embraces the “doctrines and commandments of men” (Col 2:22) rather than “take up their cross and follow Jesus” – spiritually speaking (Matt 16:24) and suffer persecution, hatred and rejection for doing so (John 15:20; Matt 24:9; Matt 5:44).

          2. The “Tares” who are Satan’s children. The Bible terms these as:

          • – Spiritual “weeds” in God’s garden growing alongside the “wheat” (Matt 13:24-30)
          • – Ministers of Righteousness in the Pulpits (2 Cor 11:15)
          • – Workers of Iniquity (Luke 13:27)
          • – Dogs (Phil 3:2)

          3. Truly “born-again” Disciples of Jesus Christ
These act like to wind that blows in the trees where others cannot tell where they have come from or where they are going, because one is born of the Spirit and the other is not (John 3:8).

If you watched the video on my Home page titled “Communists in the Churches” (https://youtu.be/XegqiDFLZNI) you would have appreciated that communism has taken over a century to finally “leaven the church” so that it is 100% effective for Satan and 100% ineffective for Christ. If you don’t believe me, then watch the video – 13 minutes.

          The Pharisees and the Apostates

You then spoke about the Pharisees and the apostates that I would place in groups 1 and 2 as mentioned above. I think you would agree with me there, Jose’?

          Salvation

You then say, “last but not least salvation is never lost if u r indeed a true christian”. But Jose’ – how does one tell who is a “true Christian”??

My answer is “ONLY those who have the love of the truth as contained in the scriptures, that they MIGHT BE SAVED” (2 Thes 2:10). If Biblical truth is NEVER compromised, it will separate the True Christian from the Tares and the Leaven in the churches – Satan’s people.

‘Religion’ is simply a lie from the Devil. Many Christians today prefer ‘religion’ because they don’t want to suffer the same hatred, persecution and rejection that Christ suffered for obeying God’s words.

Any Christian who DOES exactly what God’s word tells them to do – means that he or she will suffer persecution from Satan’s people (in the churches) because their “light” will be shining in the spiritual darkness of that church:

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:5)

I hope that this answers your questions Jose’

          Many blessings! Alan

  15. Sir how about the one criminal that crucify with christ..thus he do good works in his life..he is save by accepting he is a misirable sinner and believe that only christ will save him..where is he now? Hes in paradise with God..after we got our salvation we only do our good christian living to please God and to have our rewards in heaven..how do we much please God? By
a one soul that repent and save..God and angels are celebrating in Heaven when even one sinner is save..that criminal is in heaven(paradise) but he doesnt have rewards…if only works will save us Jesus Christ only die in vain..my salvation is eternal..Hebrew 9:12..by only his blood alone cleanse all my sins from my birth to my last breath.i.was only save by his grace..Effesian 2:8-9 ..please sir check your faith

    1. Thank you Edwin for your comments.

Firstly, scripture records that the Penitent Thief first recognized Christ as his “Lord” (Luke 23:42-43) while nailed to his cross. This meant that he could NOT get down to become baptized and therefore “Saved” (Mark 16:16); nor could he do any “good works” (James 2:26) that produce the required “fruit” (John 15:1-2) that God the Father requires to be brought into His kingdom through Christians who have been spiritually “grafted into Jesus – the Vine” (John 15:5). Effectively, the Penitent Thief was “Saved by Faith and Grace – alone (Eph 2:8).

In today’s world – if an unsaved sinner is lying on a hospital trolley and a Christian shares the gospel with that person and they accept Christ as their Savior and he or she then dies on the operating table, such a Christian is then “Saved by Fire” (1 Cor 3:14-15) in much the same way as the Penitent Thief was Saved – through Faith ALONE. I like to think we are both in agreement in this Edwin.

However, our Creator requires His children on Earth to glorify Jesus Christ in much the same way as His Son Jesus Christ glorified God the Father while He was on the Earth in human form:

“Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.” (John 13:31)

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13)

In the above verses a similar analogy (below) could apply for every Christian:

“”And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that I (Jesus) may be glorified in you (each Christian) by your faith and the “fruit you bring to God the Father” that is produced from your works of faith.” (John 14:13)

In other words, Jesus set the pattern of how He brought God “glory” through the works that He did. Similarly, each Christian is to bring Christ the same “glory” by the works (John 14:12) that He requires every Christian to perform for His glory (Matt 5:16).

Edwin, you then say “..after we got our salvation we only do our good christian living to please God and to have our rewards in heaven..how do we much please God? By a one soul that repent and save.”

The problem here is HOW does anyone define “good Christian living” that God would approve of and accept? You would need to quote at least one (if not more) Bible references here to confirm what you say is truth.

It is my understanding that both God and Jesus have clearly stated they require every Christian to “walk in the Spirit and NOT in the flesh” (Rom 8:1) and to then join with other spiritually-walking Christians to become functioning members of the Body of Christ within their local church community. Each bodily member (meaning each one has the necessary spiritual gifts of an EYE, a NOSE, an EAR, a HAND a FOOT, etc. – 1 Cor 12:13-27) to defeat the enemies of God (Satan and his demons) and to bring forth the “harvest of lost souls” into God’s kingdom as a group working together in Biblical unity (Psalm 133:1-3).

Naturally, it is Satan’s plan to prevent this from happening – because if it did, such a congregation would turn the world “upside down” (Acts 17:6). That is why Satan’s “Ministers of Righteousness” preach false gospels and false beliefs to God’s people in the pulpits each Sunday (2 Cor 11:15) – that represent “doctrines of devils” (1 Tim 4:1) that are aimed to rob God of His glory through His people and to rob God’s people of their Salvation. If God’s people fail to read and study their bibles to not only become approved by God (2 Tim 2:15) but to also prove if the things being preached are in accordance with the scriptures (Acts 17:11), then such people will be deceived and will lose their Salvation just as Jesus warned every Christian to be careful of:

“And he said, TAKE HEED THAT YE BE NOT DECEIVED: for many [false Christians – John 10:13] shall come in my name, saying, I am [of] Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them” (Luke 21:8)

This is because as Satan (in the form of the serpent) deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden because they both succumbed to his doubts and lies. Afterwards they lost eternal life with their Creator at their Judgment (Gen 3:8-19). Similarly, if Christians fail to take “heed” to Christ’s warning about being deceived in much the same way, such Christians will similarly lose their Salvation and will have eternity to lament for failing to “take heed” to Christ’s warnings.

Finally, you are second Christian on this blog who quotes “Effesian 2:8-9” but fails to quote the following verse that says this:

“For we are his workmanship, CREATED in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should WALK IN THEM.”

Where you say, “please sir check your faith” – this is what I have done Edwin. If you disagree with any of my comments, I sincerely invite you to show me where I may have erred from the truth (Job 6:24).

      Blessings Edwin, Alan

  16. I am really blessed by your teaching. Bible based teaching is what I have always wished to have and experience. The struggle though is not a walk in the park. But with Gods grace let’s soldier on.

  17. Ephesians 2:8-9 it’s said For by Grace ye are saved through faith and not of yourselves it is the Gift of God ,Not of Works list any man should boast

Romans 11:6 said If it By Grace it is no more Works, if it By Works no more Grace
It’ means you cannot combine grace and Works,
    Ephesians 2:8 and Romans 11:6
Said Grace through faith, if it By Grace no more Works,

Salvation is Not initial it is full,
As Romans 1:16 said Gospel of Christ has a power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth,

Because if you will Add Works in Your salvation either you are believing in vain said of 1 Corinthians 15:2 or the Lord Jesus Christ died in vain said Galatians 2:21

    1. Thank you for posting your comment Rodel. The comments that follow are not meant to be taken as being critical of what you believe, but are meant to demonstrate what the Word of God says in relation to your statements.

Firstly, your reference to “Ephesians 2:8-9” conveniently omits the following verse (v10) that immediately follows, which says this:

“For we are his workmanship, CREATED UNTO CHRIST JESUS unto GOOD WORKS which GOD HATH BEFORE ORDAINED that we should walk in them“.

My teaching on Initial and Final Salvation accommodates both your reference to Ephesians 2:8-9 (Initial Salvation) together with my reference to Ephesians 2:10 (Final Salvation) involving “works”. If any Christian prefers to cherry-pick what the Bible says by omitting certain statements that disagree with their view of what the Bible says, then such Christians are not being honest in their beliefs. That’s how it is Rodel – and no offense intended.

Secondly, your reference to “Romans 11:6” again falls into the same category. This verse applies to Initial Salvation that requires “faith alone” in which to be accepted into God’s kingdom. Symbolically it represents the “baby Christian” level of faith. God wants only “children weaned from the breast” (Isaiah 28:9) – NOT unlearned babies who can be deceived by Satan very easily (2 Cor 2:11) in His kingdom.

To give you an example of this, God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to:

      • Do His works (John 5:36)
      • That God the Father may be glorified in the Son through those works (John 14:13)
      • That Christians are similarly required to glorify their Savior Jesus Christ through “works” (Rom 6:4; Rom 15:17; 2 Cor 8:23; John 15:8)
      • Christians can ONLY bring both Christ and God “glory” from the required “spiritual fruit” produced by those “works” (Titus 3:8; John 14:12)
      • If Christians fail to produce the necessary “works” and the accompanying “fruit”, then God considers their faith to be “dead faith” (James 2:26) that equates to that of the One Talent Christian (Matt 25:24-30)

      Thirdly, you say that:

“As Romans 1:16 said Gospel of Christ has a power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth”

Simply “believing” is not enough to be deserving of Eternal Life with Christ, Rodel. The Apostle Paul says this about simply “believing” without having any of the required “works” that accompany belief:

“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith [alone], and [me] I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:18-20)

The point here is that one’s belief have to align with scripture to achieve Final Salvation (meaning, “good works” that accompany “faith”). If there are no “good works” that involve:

      • Doing the WILL of the Father (Matt 12:50) – then there is NO Salvation;
      • Acquiring and exercising the spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit distributes among God’s children – then there is NO Salvation;(1 Cor 12:1-11)
      • Producing “spiritual fruit” unto God the Father – then there is NO Salvation;(John 15:1-8)
      • Doing GREATER WORKS than Christ did – then there is NO Salvation (John 14:12)

In this, “works” produced through the Gifts of the Spirit demonstrate that such Christians are the “Sons of God” – just as Jesus demonstrated that He was (and is) the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14).

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12)

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14)

      Finally you say,

“Because if you will Add Works in Your salvation either you are believing in vain said of 1 Corinthians 15:2 or the Lord Jesus Christ died in vain said Galatians 2:21”.

If you prefer to believe that “faith WITHOUT WORKS is NOT dead faith” (which contradicts James 2:26) – then that is your choice, Rodel. Both God and Christ give everyone their free-will choice to believe what ALL of the scriptures say – IN FAITH ALONE (Initial Salvation), and to then GROW IN FAITH (2 Thes 1:3 – Final Salvation) by undertaking the necessary works that accompany faith – meaning, Final Salvation. If Christians prefer to believe Satan’s lies that contradict what the scriptures plainly state, then God respects their choice to do so – just as He respected Adam and Eve’s choice to disobey Him and believe the lie of the Devil.

Thanks so much for your comments Rodel and I hope these Bible references help the discussion and others reading them.

      Blessings,

      Alan

    1. Thank you Anne for your beautiful comment. Such words are encouraging to me when comparing what is being preached in the churches today.

Feel free to post or send me any questions you might have.

      Blessings! Alan

  18. Thank you Alan Manson..
    God bless you more..
In this page you can help christian to grow in their faith, and with this more of them are really interested to learn more and more about the Lord Jesus Christ.

  19. Thank you for a very simple yet comprehensive and clear explanation about how to be saved. It is my desire to know God more and to live in His presence everyday of my life but many things always meddle in between until i lose quiet time with Him. I gained a lot with this.

    1. To Susan – thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about this article with me. You are only one of a handful of Christians from the more than 1,000 who have visited this page who have responded positively to my research.

This type of teaching is not popular with many Christians today (2 Tim 4:3) because it’s purely biblical (1 Cor 3:2) and does NOT reproduce man-made doctrines (2 Thess 2:14-17). It is because of this that only FEW Christians will be “Saved” (Luke 13:23-28). Welcome into the Kingdom, sister!

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

      Blessings,

      Alan

  20. Hi Alan,

This is John Matthews, I am blessed with your teachings as I use to visit your blog frequently.

I had a question for you, Can you give me some ways or practical steps on how enemies(the devil) work to create hurdles or barriers in the process of initial salvation and final salvation?

    1. Hi John,

Thank you so much for your comments as they are very much appreciated.

Firstly, one of the biggest hurdles or barriers that the Devil uses regarding Final Salvation is unbelief followed by denial that such requirements matter.

Secondly, I have received some feedback from two people in large ministries in the USA to my video, and this is what they said:

“It seems the producer of the video thinks we need to work for our salvation, which is a slap in the face to the Lord by inferring His death on the Cross was not enough.”

“Works in a Christians life are not required for eternal life, the words are the evidence of a new life in Christ. Christians are not on the broad road, only unbelievers.”

Finally, the biggest hurdle preventing Christians from “running their salvation race” is associating with pastors (like those above) who will do everything they can to maintain their Once Saved, Always Saved (false) doctrinal position rather than admit that the Initial/Final Salvation Gospel message is Biblical.

I am hoping that more Bible-based Christians will view my video and ask questions like you have so that the truth of God’s word relating to Salvation can be spread far and wide to help neutralize the false gospel message that pastors like these prefer to promote.

      God bless John,

      Alan
