Initial and Final Salvation

Initial and Final Salvation
This entry is part 1 of 3 in the series Initial and Final Salvation

Throughout the last two centuries of Christianity, the ‘gospel’ being preached centers upon Salvation through faith alone (Eph 2:9). However, this Faith Alone ‘gospel’ fails to address the need for any accompanying “works” mentioned in Eph 2:10 that Jesus referred to as “fruit” (John 15:2) that can only be produced from “works“.  This is why God requires Christians to accept and implement Initial and Final Salvation, as it accommodates both “faith” + “works“.

Final Salvation also relates to running the “race that God has set before us” (1 Cor 9:24 and Heb 12:1-2) that attracts a “prize” if completed. Failure to “run the race” means the Christian will not achieve Final Salvation.

To obtain an overview of the above chart, it is suggested you watch this brief video presentation prior to reading the information that follows.

Final Salvation: Running the ‘Race’

This entry is part 2 of 3 in the series Initial and Final Salvation

The God of Creation who created the heavens and the Earth — together with everything in them (Isa 42:5) has set challenges for every person born upon the Earth to “seek Him while He can be found”:

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: {7} Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

(Isa 55:6-7)

Once modern-day individuals hear the Gospel message — who believe and then accept the ‘Good News’ by confessing Jesus Christ with their mouth, the Bible says that such people are ‘Saved’ from spending eternity in Hell (Rom 10:9-10). However, such people are yet to run the race God has established for every Christian to embark upon and successfully finish.

PROOF that MOST Christians are NOT SAVED!

PROOF that MOST Christians are NOT SAVED
This entry is part 3 of 3 in the series Initial and Final Salvation

My recent advertising campaign using Google ads to promote my post titled Initial and Final Salvation has produced statistical proof that most Christians are not Saved!

To illustrate that this situation has been a pattern of God’s people throughout millennia, the Bible reveals that in the days of Noah (Luke 17:26-27) it was only Noah and his seven other family members who were saved from that world-wide flood.  If it is assumed that there were 1 billion people on the Earth at the time, this means that the percentage saved would be 0.0000008%.

Similarly, ALL of the inhabitants of the cities associated with Sodom and Gomorrah perished in the fire and brimstone that rained down upon them from Heaven — but it was only Lot and his two daughters who were saved from that catastrophe (Gen 19:24; 30).  Again, it was a very tiny percentage of people who were ‘finally Saved’ from God’s judgments.

Often the Bible talks about a “remnant” of God’s people that were saved (rather than a multitude) as can be seen in these the Bible references (Rom 9:27; 2 Kings 19:30-31; Ezra 9:8; Isa 1:9; 10:21-22; 11:16).

The New Birth

Many preachers claim that if an unsaved person accepts Christ as their Savior, they have experienced the New Birth, or “born again”. However, can such a claim be justified in scripture?

I question this because of my own ‘New Birth’ experience (John 3:8). What happened was that God placed a “new heart” within me (Ezek 36:26). This experience allowed me to “see” the state of God’s kingdom inside the churches, which to me was horrific.

Please let me explain.

Works of Faith

The New Testament is very clear that God the Father requires every Christian to bring forth spiritual “fruit” (John 15:1-9) into His kingdom through “works of faith” (James 2:20-26).

The spiritual “fruit” being referred to represents the lost souls in this world — those who are living a life of sin (Luke 15:10). This is because Satan has ensnared them in unbelief (Heb 4:6). The only way to “save” them (Rom 10:14) is for God’s people to preach the True Gospel and to demonstrate their faith using the Gifts of the Spirit (Mark 16:20) that produce ‘works of faith‘, as stated in the scripture verse below.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations [by My disciples in My churches]; and then shall the end come.” — Jesus speaking

(Matt 24:14)

The True Church of Jesus Christ

The True Church of Jesus Christ

In chapters 2 and 3 of the Book of Revelation, Jesus speaks openly to the two Churches of Jesus Christ in Asia that had remained faithful to the Gospel, which represented the True Church of Jesus Christ.

In contrast to this, Jesus mentioned a few good things the remaining five had done, but then went on to specifically criticize these churches about the things they hadn’t done.

This article looks specifically at what the True Church should function as, where each Christian is required to become an individual member within Christs spiritual body (of many members) on the Earth.

The Significance of Loving Truth

Truth vs lies

I have discovered that human nature has a habit of avoiding “The Truth” about certain matters.

When circumstances dictate that they must face up to facts, they invariably go around, go over — or do everything they can to avoid the issue. In this, they often fail to appreciate that their Creator is wanting them to confront whatever “truth” He has placed before them, for Him to determine if He is able to present to them the most important truth in their life, which is the Gospel message of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

It can be seen that “having a love of the truth” is essential for Salvation to be achieved.

Are You Walking in Spirit or in the Flesh?

The Bible contains many strange statements that are not easily understood – especially of “walking in the spirit“.  Much research and questioning is often required to discover what these topics truly mean.

  • Holiness (Heb 12:14-16)
  • Sanctification (1 Thes 4:4)
  • Righteousness (Matt 5:20)
  • Truth (John 18:38)
  • Predestination (Rom 8:29)
  • Walking in the Spirit/Flesh

This article will endeavor to explain what “Walking in the Spirit” vs “Walking in the Flesh” means from the Bible’s perspective.
