The Apostle Paul’s Gospel of Salvation

This Bible-based analysis of the Apostle Paul’s Gospel of Salvation explains the requirements Christians MUST meet for entry into Heaven.

In this, God requires every Christian to enter into and “RUN” in the “RACE that God has established” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

This “RACE” is similar to a cross-country “endurance race” (1 Corinthians 9:26). This is where God requires every Christian to use a map (i.e. their Bible), together with a compass (the Holy Spirit). This is to enable them to reach the Finish Line (or Final Salvation):

"...and LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." (Hebrews 12:1-2)
And ye shall be HATED OF ALL MEN for my name's sake: but HE [or her] THAT ENDURETH TO THE END [to the FINISH LINE of his or her lifetime on Earth as one of My disciples] SHALL BE SAVED.” (Matthew 10:22)
I have FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT [with Satan’s people], I have FINISHED MY COURSE [of trials and temptations throughout my 'RACE'], I have KEPT THE FAITH [that was originally given the saints – Jude 1:3];” (2 Timothy 4:7)
The RACE to the Finish Line that God requires every Christian to RUN

For those Christians who have placed their faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (or ‘Simple Salvation‘ – Ephesians 2:8-9) exclusively; these continue to remain at the Start Line in their faith journey. This means they have NO Salvation.

In the verse below, the phrase “…the principles of the doctrine of Christ” refers to the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

Therefore LEAVING [behind] THE PRINCIPLES OF THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST [and then moving forward], LET US GO ON TO PERFECTION; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works [meaning, of confessing sins to God], and of faith toward God [that is a fundamental requirement at Salvation—Romans 10:9-10],” (Hebrews 6:1)

Paul’s Gospel—The Eight Stages of Biblical Salvation (or Spiritual Maturity)

The Bible indicates there are EIGHT Stages of spiritual maturity that Christians must achieve. if they are to reach the FINISH Line of their faith journey (Philippians 3:14; 2 Timothy 4:7). These stages all lead to the Christian becoming the “New Creature in Christ” mentioned in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:15:

These spiritual stages commence at the “New Birth” (John 3:7).

Once the “New Birth” has produced God’s “babe in Christ” (1 Peter 2:2), he or she must proceed through the following growth stages so as to become useful in God’s kingdom.

The Spiritual Growth Stages

A “seed” planted in “good soil” ultimately grows into a fruitful plant (Matthew 13:23). In a similar manner, God expects the same maturing process to take place in His “sons and daughters” here on the Earth (2 Corinthians 6:18).

In this, the following stages of spiritual growth MUST take place.

  • Little child (Matthew 18:3; 1 John 2:1, 12, 13, 18, 28, etc.)
  • Strong young man (1 John 2:14). This maturity is indicated by how well the Christian has overcome the Devil’s temptations (1 John 2:14).
  • Father (1 John 2:13). This is where the “father” spiritually procures children into God’s kingdom by preaching the Apostle Paul’s Gospel to other Christians – and who accept Paul’s Gospel.
  • Good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). This “son” is one who earnestly contends for the faith (or doctrines) that were originally given to Christ’s disciples (Jude 1:3).

All “Good soldiers of Jesus Christ” become functioning members of the Body of Christ on Earth, within the following ministries:

  • The VISIBLE MINISTRIES:  These are indicated as Eye, Ear, Nose, Hand and Foot ministries (1 Corinthians 12:12-20).
  • — The HIDDEN MINISTRIES:  These represent the INTERNAL ORGAN ministries of Christ’s body.

An online Bible study to watch titled the Eight Stages of Biblical Salvation teaches more about this in greater detail.

The Eight Stages of Christian Salvation

Paul’s Gospel—True Christians MUST become Disciples of Jesus Christ

Jesus made this very compelling statement several times in different ways. This was to emphasise that completely surrendering one’s life to Christ is essential for (Final) Salvation to be achieved.

"If any man [or woman] come to me [seeking Salvation], and hate not [meaning love MUCH less than Christ] his FATHER, and MOTHER, and WIFE, and CHILDREN, and BRETHREN [brothers], and sisters, yea, AND HIS OWN LIFE ALSO, HE CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE." (Luke 14:26)

Verses similar to this requirement relate to:

In Luke 14:33, Jesus states that Christians MUST forsake all that they have in material wealth to follow Christ:

These requirements from Jesus indicate that ALL Christians MUST do these things to become a Disciple of Jesus Christ!

Paul’s Gospel—Unity in the ‘Body of Christ

All Christians who embrace the Apostle Paul’s Gospel MUST become joined together IN LOVE with other spiritual members of the Body of Christ on Earth. This is a necessary requirement for being able to do the will of God (Mark 3:35).

The True Church of Jesus Christ

Each of the ‘members’ identified below determine their role (or ministry) within the Body of Christ. These are stated as a:

  • hand“;
  • foot“;
  • nose“;
  • eye
  • ear” as stated in 1 Corinthians 12:12-20.

Paul’s Gospel — The ‘Gifts of the Spirit’ enable “Good Works”

Each member of Christ’s (spiritual) body must acquire from the Holy Spirit, the relevant “Gifts of the Spirit” associated with their ministry (1 Cor 12:8-11).

The collective members of the “Body of Christ” MUST “…DO THE SAME WORKS THAT CHRIST DID” collectively, such as:

  • cleansing the lepers (Matthew 10:7),
  • making the blind to see (Matthew 11:5),
  • enabling the lame to walk (Matthew 11:5),
  • allowing the deaf hear again (Matthew 11:5)
  • raising those back to life who have died (Matthew 10:8), and
  • preaching the gospel to the poor. (Luke 7:22).
  • doing greater works than these (John 14:12).

If Christians FAIL to meet ALL of the CONDITIONS associated with the Apostle Paul’s Gospel, this means they have NO Salvation:

"In the day [of Judgement] when God [the Father] shall judge the secrets of [Christian] men [and women] by Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL." (Romans 2:16)
"But they [meaning, today's Christian community] HAVE NOT ALL OBEYED THE [Apostle Paul's] GOSPEL. For Esaias [Isaiah 53:1; Jesus - John 12:38 and now Paul] saith, Lord, who hath believed our report [that the words of the LORD MUST BE OBEYED]?" (Romans 10:16)

A Disciple of Jesus Christ

Alan Manson

After having a "born-again" experience in 1990, this changed my life. I have come to love reading the King James Bible and have studied it exhaustively. Through this, Jesus Christ has shown me that the many and varied 'gospels' about today in the various churches today are false, and there are NONE that will save any Christian from spending eternity in Hell. The ONLY Gospel that "Saves" Christians from this fate is Paul's Gospel, which he termed "My Gospel" (Rom 2:16) and that is what this website/blog and YouTube videos explain and promote.
