The unique characteristic of the Apostle Paul’s Gospel is that it contains a “mystery“:
"Now to him [God] that is of power to stablish you [as being found worthy of Salvation] ACCORDING TO MY [Paul's] GOSPEL, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of THE MYSTERY, which was kept secret since the world began," (Romans 16:25)
"And for me, that utterance [from the Lord] may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known THE MYSTERY OF THE GOSPEL," (Ephesians 6:19)Gospel “Bait” versus Gospel “Meat“
Most preachers today preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that one could portray as being similar to “bait” that is used when fishing. When “bait” is placed on the hook of a fishing line, it aims to attract a “fish” to the hook and then landed into a basket. Jesus used this concept of fishing when speaking about street evangelism as shown in the image below:
"And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become FISHERS OF MEN." (Mark 1:17; 4:19)However, using “bait” in the form of spiritual FOOD for God’s people to GROW (spiritually) is impossible because, how could a fisherman feed his family on “bait“? In the spiritual sense, neither the fish (the new Christian) nor the angler (the evangelist) could survive for very long on a diet of small pieces of “bait“.
Therefore, something of more substance than “bait” is necessary to retain a lost soul in God’s kingdom on Earth. This is the purpose of the Apostle Paul’s Gospel.
"For every one that useth MILK is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But STRONG MEAT belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:13-14)
The New Creature in Christ Jesus is “Peculiar”
Everyone who hears the good news of Jesus Christ (as being the Saviour of our soul from spending eternity in Hell) needs to become a New Creature in Christ, as stated below:
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision [i.e. adhering to Jewish laws] availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision [i.e. living by faith alone], but A NEW CREATURE." (Galatians 6:15)"Therefore if any man be in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
God creates this New Creature in Christ. It happens when He places a “New Spirit” together with a “New Heart” inside the truly “Born-Again” Christian. This then makes them become “peculiar” when compared to other Christians:
"A NEW HEART also will I give you, and a NEW SPIRIT will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26)
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER [of the Word - Ephesians 5:26] and of the Spirit [Baptism - John 1:33], he [or she] CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
"[Jesus Christ -] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a PECULIAR PEOPLE, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:14)
The Apostle Paul’s Gospel – Video
Over the past few years, Jesus has been revealing to me that He will use the Apostle Paul’s Gospel in which to judge Christians on the following two basis:
- For REWARDS to Christians who have met the CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY into Heaven at their death, or to those who are ELIGIBLE to be in the soon to occur Pre-Tribulation Rapture.
- For JUDGEMENT at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15) to determine if their name has been blotted out of the “Lamb’s Book of Life“:
“HE THAT OVERCOMETH [Satan’s lies. temptations and deceptions—2 Corinthians 2:11], the same shall be clothed in white raiment; AND I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” (Revelation 3:5)
"Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, as a roaring lion, WALKETH ABOUT SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR: 9 Whom RESIST stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." (1 Peter 5:8-9)
