With reference to the image below and Label 6, it is God’s intention for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to dwell in the New Heavens and the New Earth. In this, the Present Earth we now live on will have been purified and cleansed by fire from all the pollution it has suffered over the past 6,000 years. It will be re-made to be like it was in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve cared for God’s creation prior to them sinning.

The New Earth
The New Jerusalem is a building in Heaven. It will one day pass through the New Heavens on its way to the New Earth. It is is described in scripture as follows:
Rev 21 verses 10 to 22:
“And he…shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

The Bible’s Description of the New Heaven and New Earth
Once the New Earth has been established by Christ, the New Jerusalem will then descend from Heaven and locate itself on the New Earth. Its location will possibly be over the Middle East (maybe Jerusalem) as stated below:
“And I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth: for the FIRST HEAVEN and the FIRST EARTH [that the Apostle John knew about] were passed away; …there was no more sea. {2} …I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven…And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Rev 21:1–5
Summary
The purpose of writing about the generations of the Heavens and the Earth is to reveal God’s plan of Salvation. This salvation is not only for mankind through Jesus Christ, but for the Heavens and the Earth also. God requires ALL spiritually-minded Christians to investigate and wrestle with this doctrine until it is resolved.
God has said in scripture He has always intended to dwell with His Creation on the Earth. He wants to dwell with the animals, plants, birds, mankind, and angels that He created (Isa 57:15). When God discovered rebellion in Lucifer, God then decided to ‘filter’ His angel and human forms of Creation. God chose this means because He gave mankind a FREE WILL to choose to do either good or evil. If people chose ‘evil’ over ‘good’, then they would be punished. If they chose ‘good’ over ‘evil’ they would live eternally with Him. A lifetime for each man and woman on the Earth is God’s “filtering process” that He uses in this.
If humans really do love their Creator, God determines from their understanding of scripture if they will obey His words.
In this, Jesus said, “IF ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15
A word of Warning
If Christians don’t obey Christ’s words, they then demonstrate to Christ and everyone else that they don’t love Christ. No Christian can be “lukewarm” (Rev 3:16) about this. Christ considers people either love or Hate Him by their obedience or disobedience to His words ( Luke 11:23 ).
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God [meaning, the end-time Church]: and if it first begin at us [the Jewish nation of Israel], what shall the end be of them that OBEY NOT the gospel of God [in the Gentile churches]? {18} And if the righteous [in the Gentile churches] SCARCELY be saved, where shall the ungodly [Christian] and the [Unsaved] sinner [who have rejected the Gospel] appear?”
1 Pet 4:17–18
The purpose of this article is to encourage God’s people to explore topics such as this.
God has a plan for the generations of the Old, Present, and New Heavens and Earth. If you can accept this claim, then this should help you increase your faith.
Such knowledge provides a good basis toward understanding the many other spiritual issues. Our Creator requires His people to gain knowledge, wisdom and understanding in this life (Dan 2:21). Without it, there is no eternal life (Prov 1:7; Psalm 5:5).

This series links theories in the scientific community with what Christians believe. I have always thought that it wasn’t creationism vs. evolutionism but a combination of the two.
Thank you for your comment Louise, but I have to disagree with your statement that “this series links…creationism and evolutionism”.
Evolution is simply a 19th Century theory that cannot be proven under any circumstances as it involves a great deal of unrealistic assumptions.
On the other hand, Creationism involves believing how the handiwork of a Creator occurred, as explained in the Bible. Every time we eat natural food or we walk outside and enjoy the air, the flowers and the rain, we are experiencing what our Creator created as the universe’s master Designer and Creator. An analogy is that our Creator is like an architect who designs a building and the systems within it. He then supervises its construction. If he (or she) is a good architect, then the finished building will be beautiful and function well – and is something to be admired. Evolution doesn’t allow for such a concept to occur.
Our world of intricate ecosystems never evolved from a Big Bang – the ultimate form of chaos; however this is a topic that often divides people because one has to believe that perfect ecosystems evolved out of perfect chaos.
My articles were not placed there to cause arguments associated with Evolution. They were designed to reveal our Creator’s massive plan for Him to cleanse the Earth of those who hate and rebel against Him so that one day, He (God the Father) can leave Heaven to dwell upon the Earth with those of His people who have proven their love for Him. This is because He is a God of Love (1 John 4:8) and does not want to be reprimanding rebels during the period of the New Heavens and the New Earth – meaning, eternity.
Nevertheless, feel free to add further comments if you care to discuss this further.
Blessings!
